The Conservancy proudly presents this evening exhibition in memory of Alice Bird Erickson, an accomplished nature illustrator who grew up at the Bird Homestead.
About the Artist:
Kari Englehardt, a visual mixed media artist, puts plants in the central role of muse, raconteur and educator. With a body of work rooted at the intersection of the natural and built environments, her goal is to develop conversations and raise awareness to the vital importance of plant life within our shared biosphere. Previous exhibitions have centered on issues such as habitat loss, trans-boundary migration, and phytoremediation of contaminated soil caused by oil and gas production.
